"Playing with Pyramids reminded me of the classic
of game literature Abbott's New Card Games by Robert Abbott
because of the range of different new games played with a single
piece of equipment. I think Looney's book is an essential addition
to the game book collection of anyone interested in new game
ideas." -- Book Review from Abstract

                | | The Giant Cabbage that Ate
                  Alison's Weekend | |
          | When
Leah found herself needing a Giant Cabbage, she knew immediately
who to ask for help in building one: Alison.
She was right, too... Alison took on the project with enthusiasm
and skill, and together they created this incredible-looking
over-sized cabbage (which is actually layers of papier-mache
wrapped around a big balloon). Of course, the task did take most
of the weekend, and the sad thing is, it's ephemeral art -- it
was built to be destroyed! Oh well... but doesn't it look cool?
As for the question of why Leah
needs a Giant Cabbage, the short answer is, it's a piñata.
(The long answer is that they need it for the attack of the giant
cabbage they'll be staging at an upcoming Darkon event hosted
by the country of Moot, whose citizens honor Tirade
as their war-god...) Well, that's all for now... we've got to get ready for Toy
            Fair...
