Number12's Web Comics Picks

Tornado

Hi all. Whew! What a tough bunch of weeks. I've given all hope of maintaining a weekly schedule, even the webcomic reviews. Between work and disasters I don't spend as much time surfing as I used to, although I'm still finding new web comics every few weeks, and I definitely can't devote the time I thought I could to the pages here. Despite still not getting to updating all my other pages, I have mangaged to updated my Catalog for LJoy Studios on the occasion of having had a great show at the Takoma Park Folk Festival.

Well, the bad news for this week was that of all things tornados hit the area. The good news is that my house was miraculously spared, the twister taking out buildings on both opposite corners from my house. The bad news was I was without power for a couple of days. The good news is that I collected a bunch of branches for the winter stock to build more music stands with. The bad news is I'm not sure when I'll have time to do it, but it's a big few months ahead. The good news is that power came back on last night and "Enterprise" didn't suck as bad as I'd expected. It was pretty good, actually.

Although no comic link this week, here is this week's nanofic:

Where are they now?

All-star football, Class President, Homecoming King. Scholastic genius with great potential. He was popular, and most of all, *important*. He knew nobody in that school would ever forget him. But those same halls now ring with footsteps he wouldn't recognize. They never consult a yearbook from 1952, and they're all going to be important.

Tell me what you thought of this nanofic

That's all,

Charles

About my pages

My goal in adding this page to the WTS is to entertain my fellow toasters, and maybe even a small segment of the rest of the Web. I'll endeavor to add something new every week, so keep checking in, or look for any announcements about my pages in The Wunderland Weekly News.

My offerings fall into two categories: First, original works; artwork, music, photos, or writing that I'm collecting here for self-publication on a scale unimaginable a few years ago. Hopefully, the world's collective yawn won't totally blow me over, but I think you'll enjoy it if you've gotten this far. Second, Stuff I Found On The Web, brought back and held up to the light for your enjoyment. There's a whole underground world of music publication on the Web through "MIDI", and I'm also wild about Webcomics.

Go directly to the corners of my electronic world by using the navigation bar appearing at the top of this page, or jump down below that to find out what I've added this week. I'll also someday be experimenting with time, allowing you to scroll through previous weeks' versions of my pages where appropriate.
