ANT ELEGANCE
The ants in my yard began to get smart
They started with tools, made pieces of art
Religion swept through with idols and fears
Then battles and wars brought weapons like spears
Next came the armies with order and ranks
Gunpowder was made, then metals and tanks
I had always thought that ants had no brains,
But I'd go outside and see rocket planes!
Suddenly one night, the ants were no more
They blew themselves up with nuclear war
But that's not the end; sooner or later
we might make our world one giant crater
Isn't it funny how ants are like man?
We both had no brains since the world began
