J: For the Fourth, Gina, Lori
and I went to a grilling party at Kelly and Alfredo's place, which was
right across the street from a huge public fireworks show. I ate too
much food, drank too much beer, and fell asleep watching fireworks.
That's how long the fireworks show was - there were multiple fake grand
finales, where parts of the crowd would start to leave and then another
finale would shoot into the air. The show was very loud and close, loud
enough to set off car alarms. I woke up in time to see the real
grand finale. Lori passed out diffraction glasses to enhance everyone's
viewing pleasure; some people really went wild over the glasses.
Sorry this news is so late and short. I'd like to say that I had
computer troubles or something but that would be a baaaad excuse.
