 Bulletin

J: Bulletin Bulletin Bulletin! This is a bulletin bulletin bulletin— last week's news today:
  • Thursday - A million unklings descended on chez ginohn. By a million I mean six. And by unklings I mean compact little quanta of nephewnium, all seven years and younger, all pure energy acting as waves or particles depending on the amount of injury they were imparting on each other.
  • Friday - First Friday party! Lots of good fun, but I collapsed on the hammock with my teddy dij in my arms, and woke up with itchy mosquito bites. Serves me right.
  • Saturday - Family reunion at sister Cecily's place. Ate too much. Thanks for the portabella mushrumps, Cec!
  • Sunday - JSun's birthday party at Diana's. Briana the Muscle made a delicious shrimp dish for the bug eaters, and Dorian brought the vegans some really tasty veggie burgers.
  • Monday - John Norden's birthday party at Franklin's. Our DSL went down that night, but thanks to the miracle of communist wifi, we're sneaking bandwidth from a nearby neighbor.
  • Tuesday - Baseball with some brothers— Bill, Thom, Eriku, and Fwanky. Bro-in-law Dave was there too. The Orioles won. Meanwhile Gina and girlfriends played Shaufenster back home. The Izolda won.
G: I'd just like to add some things, you know, for clarification. Like, Eric is here from Japan with his son Sean. The Naab family of 5 (Meg, Joe, Billy, Leo, and Karl) drove their portable home here from Kansas. Frank, Shawn, and their baby Fwanky came up from Florida, and Kit, Laura, Kat and baby Kit came from South Kakalacky. We all met up at Dave and Cecily's (and May and Kimmy's) -  Bill, Dee, Erin and Emily, Thom, Kathy, Liam and Sean, Cooperdad and Catherine. Toni mom is out of the country, and brother Karl didn't come from Taiwan. There were occasional close-friends-but-technically-non-familial visitors, but including me, John, and Lori, there were 31 folks at the extended-in-all-directions family gathering. But, anyway, all the unklings that we know of were in one place at one time, and photos were even taken. Hopefully we'll update with some of those as soon as someone sends us some.
