Plethora Splash

G: What have we been up to, hrmmm? Lessee, we rode our bikes to Franklin's on Thursday, with Dorian and Paul. Amethyst met us there, and so did Joe and Renata. That was fun!

Friday, we had a party. That was fun too! Saturday Luisa came over to use the computer for a while, and she started cleaning up from our party, and we joined in, and got the place all cleaned up. That was good! And then Christian and his housemate Rob came over and we went to the movies. After we got back we went to bed early, because we hadn't gotten enough sleep Friday night.

Sunday evening Christian came over again, and brought us yummy yummy vegan shepherd's pie. I made a salad and we had dinner, then I went to dance night and John and Christian went to another movie.

Monday was Kory's birthday, and I made him a loaf of banana bread. We went with Kory and Dave Chalker to Houston's for the best veggie burger in the country. That was good. Then we went to Bethesda Row cinema and saw another movie, and we were the only people in the theater. We like it when
that happens!

Tuesday I went a shoppin' , lookin' for some new furniture. I have to look some more, but I'm homing in on some new living room furniture. I also went to Behnke nursery and got me some plants, mostly flowers. Today, I put most of them in. I was working in the yard most of the day. I had to pick the hottest day so far this year! But it wasn't too bad. At least there weren't any mosquitoes.

J: Frank's home! He's back from Iraq and enjoying the company of his wife and son. Welcome back Frank!

I had a good time playing my dijeridoo at our campfire this month, while others drummed and Marlene and Martha danced. I seem to sound much better when I'm intoxicated. Hah!

We're getting geared up for a big Green Man Festival this weekend in Greenbelt. Hope some of you can come.

I've decided to spend less time updating our site, so I'm taking out some needless steps. I'm starting with the Heap. From now on you'll still get the links list to your right but we won't be sorting them into the yearly Heap files. (Still archiving though.)

We couldn't think of a title this week so we each thought of a word and put them together.

Looky, here's a picture of Ginohn & Dorian at Franklin's! We're wearing the Geezer shirts that our good mate Pete gave us. Thanks again Pete! We miss ya.
