Thanks, Indians!

Welp, we have company here now (Chris, Leo, and Kory), so I'm using it
as an excuse to not write much news.
On Friday we went to Dale's last Third Friday party. Lots of fun. Gina
and Kory headed up a game of Why Did The Chicken upstairs while I
sampled whiskey, chatted with folks, and attempted some of Dale's
hundred puzzles downstairs. Dale is taking off across the country. We
wish Dale a safe yet adventurous trip. (Can a trip be both safe and adventurous?)
On Saturday Gina and I went to the home of a friend of Bro' Thom and
Kathy's friend CC to celebrate our little unkling Sean's third
anniversary of his birthday (whew!). I ated too
much cake. And I wore a pointy hat. After the party I went to T&K's
place and helped them move furniture, and also installed Firefox and
Thunderbird on their computer so they can get away from Internet
Exploder™ and Microsafe
Lookout™.
Sunday night Gina and I went to Diana's house for an after drumming
party. Jason made an outstanding salad. Amethyst brought a
dysfunctional family christmas carol book, and we sang lots of songs
from it. Yay! We're thinking of going caroling with the songs this Xmash™.

Please take time to
remember the indigenous people who were kind enough to help our puritan
ancestors live off the land. Even today, it's obvious to me that our
part of this world needs more Indians and fewer Puritans. We could
still use our ancient hosts' teachings.
It's just past midnight. Gina is making food for tomorrow's feast.
