Eating Riding Drinking Writing Playing
J: Thursday -
Gina made dinner for a bunch of people. Kory, Chris, Kerry, and Dave
Chalker came over, and we had salad, lentils and potato soup, leftover
tomato/corn/red lentil stew, and brown rice. Then we all went to the
Looneys', except Kerry. Played another Why Did The Chicken variant.
Friday - I went on
a Franklin's
ride with Chris Welsh. I don't think I'll ever get tired of those
Franklin's rides. Later I
played more of the Picture Chicken game
at our house, with Kory, Gina, & Chris.
Saturday - Chris
helped me
move furniture to make the once-upon-a-time game room into a real
guest room. That left an empty space where our futon couch was, so Gina
ordered a sofa from this
place. Later we
watched some of our first season DVD of Mr. Show with Kerry, Kory, and
Chris.
Sunday - In the
morning I fried up three different rices and three
different mushrumps,
along with three
different veggies. We went to a
drum jam at (outside) the New Deal Cafe. We watched the movie
De-Lovely, then mosyed over to Kerry's place for a cozy party. In
attendance that night were Kerry,
Abby, Vasili, Gary, Paul, Kory, Chris, Dorian, Luisa, and us.
Tuesday - Joey and
Renatta made primitive bows and an atlatl,
and they let us shoot arrows and throw spears in the school
field. Very satisfying. I still have a pretty good aim.
This paper (aka my ticket to the Canaries) is kicking my
ass. I'm forgetting the days... but Gina helped straighten this news
out.
Brother Eric (aka Eriku) is visiting us tonight, all the way from
Japan! Yay! He brought his son Sean, who pretty much just went to
sleep, after we bothered him with a lot of questions he didn't answer,
and met Booda.
G:
I've been busy
doing little projects around the house and trying to prepare for big
projects. I'm hoping to paint the downstairs of the house before it
gets cold out. What do you think of yellow and orange?
