Gina's parents visited this weekend. Chris Welsh too. We had a lot of fun chatting and figuring out a crossword puzzle together. Gina made a wonderful feast. She's been finding some good mushrumps lately, too. Our monthly party went well. Very crowded, and a nice fire. Still trying to complete a scientific paper at work for an upcoming trip to the Canary Islands. I'm not scared. My brother Frank just returned from Iraq. We went to brother Thom's place to see Frank, Shawn, and their new child F. Scott Cooper II. Thom's kids, Liam and Sean, who are about 4 and 3 years old, played with me and beat the crap out of me. I was pretty sore the next day. OK, signing off. G: I'll fill in some of the details. Mom and Dad stopped here for the weekend on their way home to Florida. They were at our party Friday night and enjoyed meeting a lot of our friends. Kerry did some face painting, I went first. Alfredo and TV-Tom also got the treatment. We spent hours and hours at the New Deal Cafe on Saturday, having lunch and hanging out with Chris, Kory, Leo, and Lucy. Then we had a nice dinner at Chef's Secret. They've added brown rice to their menu, yay! Leo and Lucy happened to go there too, before us, but sat with us some more until we were done. After that, Mom and Dad went back to their hotel, and John, Chris, and I went to a going away party for Ellen, who is moving to Seattle. We'll miss her. It was a great party and we did a lot of our crazy dancing. We got home around 5am! Sunday is when I cooked a feast, and we went to the movie. I also went to dance night. Baby baby Fwanky (Scott) sure is cute. I should have brought my camera when we went to see him and family. Mom and Dad left early (6:10am) Monday morning and drove straight through to Ft. Pierce, getting home before 10pm that night. Wow! |
