Gina Doesn't Like The
Name "Food Hitler"
J: Ran out of
time for a full report; here's a synopsis of the week:
- Thursday
- Miriam's Kitchen Bowls
of Compassion auction at the World Bank— Gina donated two fine
bowls to the cause. We saw lots of rich people bidding thousands of
dollars for bowls (and vacation packages), and we ate lots of finger
food offered to us from very pretty, friendly waitresses.
- Friday
- First Friday party until 8:00 AM. Chris Welsh visited this week.
We've been having a lot of fun.
- Saturday
- Sev's Tie Die Day: Gina made many lovely tie dies while Chris and I
poked each other with sticks. Then I walked with Chris to
the New Deal, and later walked with Kory & Chris & Booda
through the woods. Later, played our first game of Food Dictator
(randomly choose a player, and that player decides where all players
will eat). Gina
won, took us to the Macaroni Grill.
- Sunday
- Failed a run (~1 mile, blew out my leg), Berwyn Cafe,
brunch with the G'belt crew. Movie, then played Food
Hitler (same game but the name evolved). I won, after some strikeouts
we ended up at Ellicott
Mills Brewery. Watched Sex & the City on dvd (lots of that all
week, actually).
- Monday
- Sammitches and philosophy: constructing meaning in life, and
dealing with some genii who wants to severe your spine. Ate at Denny's
too late.
- Tuesday
- Bought running shoes. Chrissy and Stacy walked Booda (thanks!). Chris
Welsh
chopped lots of wood (thanks Chris!), Gina made good dinner. Chris,
Rich, Kory, and I played Why Did the Chicken.
Tie game!
