We're working on our
California
trip report and we'll put it up by next week, with some pictures even.
Many thanks to all the friends who put us up (and put up with us)!As soon as we returned from our vacation this Sunday, we drove down to my brother Bill's place for a rendevous with most of my siblings. Only Karl was missing from the line-up; I miss him. Saw Eric and his son Sean. His wife Kaori was asleep so we didn't see her. They went back to Japan today. On Monday my brother Frank, back from his tour with the Air Force, and his wife Shawn visited our house. We took them to the New Deal, chatted a while, then I took Gina to a doctor's appointment. I still haven't technically gone back to work, but I did peek in briefly to see that my crates are back from their trip out west. One of my instrument crates, with clearly marked "This End Up" stickers, was sitting in my office with the wrong end up. I'll deal with that tomorrow. |
