The Rules of Tombstone                       by W.W. Cooper
Imagine that you are looking at a tombstone.

It is the only record of the dead person's existence. There are no other data about this person anywhere else in the Universe. This person is, of course, you.

Your tombstone has very little written on it. It has:

Your name,

your date of birth,

your date of death,

and one word.

It can be any word you want, of any part of speech. No attached articles or other extra words are allowed. It may describe you or some philosophy you have, or not. It is your word.

Once you have chosen your word and have announced (or written or emailed) it, the deed is done, and you must live with your choice for the rest of your life.

You may never change the word on your imaginary tombstone.

Thanks for playing, and good luck.

Add your tombstone to the Tombstone Archives!

Thanks! We'll be sure to make a hole for you in our Graveyard, if your word meets our requirements
(which more or less are guided by whether or not we can find your word in some reference book).
