| One day Ginohn was playing with a Ouija board. After an hour
of "oaoehgoh
<yes> <no> nwe9rrtkju" (etc.) we decided it wasn't
working all
that great, so we threw it into a bonfire and it started
screaming! Honest! It was screaming as it burned, probably
because
it was so board. Get it? Board? Yuk yuk. That was a pun, of
sorts. And the rest of it was a joke, but we can pretend, can't we?
Anyway, after we burned the evil board, we had no easy way to communicate with the spirits, short of total possession, which is somewhat unpredictable. Then one of us had the nifty, but hardly unique, idea of using the computer's keyboard. We held hands, meshing our fingers together, and put a pencil (eraser end down) in between our fingers. We then held this bionic planchette (I think that's how you spell it) a few inches above the keyboard and watched it go. We got some (barely) interesting stuff out of it, and best of all, nobody had to act as scribe since everything that was typed went directly into a file. And keyboards have an interesting character called a space. Ouija boards don't. Well, when we got jaded with the keyboard, into the flames it went, hissing and clicking all the way, all keyed up and board (yawn), just like the evil Ouija board that preceded it. By now we were pretty tired of seeing what the dead people, aliens, demons, subconscious egos, what have you, had to say about anything, and we were ready to harness the Ouija energy for pure enjoyment. By the way, I have typed this entire page, and many others, using only my trackball, cutting and pasting from pre-typed alphabets. Hope you're impressed. What finally came out of these experiments in mad pseudo-science was what we call Ouija dancing (pronounced, in these parts, as "WEE-jee-DAN-sing"). The simplest Ouija dance is performed with two people -- music is optional:
With more people, hold hands in a ring. Ouija dances with four or more dancers produce amazing spinning knot works. Sometimes after untying itself, everyone in the ring is facing outwards! As with all dances and other methods of "opening doors that cannot be closed", the more you practice the better you get. The most people we have ever Ouija-danced with at one time was five, but John wants to someday get together 13 or so. Try it, and let us know how it goes, OK? Update: OK, so John was finally able to find 13 or so
people
to try the dance. Interestingly enough, it was at a friend's ballroom
where
people gather twice a month to dance (more classical stuff though).
John
explained to everyone how to Ouija dance, then some music was put on,
and
everyone stood in a large circle with hands meshed. Slowly (starting,
not
surprisingly, with those who had done the dance before) hands started
moving,
while others stayed still. Little by little everyone's hands got into
the
dance, raising, lowering, and circling. Then the entire circle began to
spin and "breathe" in a weird rhythmic undulation. It wasn't long
before
the circle became a complicated knot. A lot of dancers were giggling,
and
other spectators jumped in and connected to take part in the fun.
Eventually
the knot was tied too tight to move much, but by then the music was
over
anyhow. Update Feb-2004:
Joshua sent us this Ouija dancing report: For a few years now
I've played with the Ouija Board and have become quite adept in its use
and have gained a lot of knowledge from the spirits, both good and
bad. I found your website while searching about things Ouija
related. I tried it with my roommate right away and it worked
great. After doing the dance for a little while I found that
these are actually spirits communicating through the physical.
After playing around in the dance for a few minutes I learned that they
can show you how tall they are, and you can ask Yes/No questions simply
by asking them "What is Yes?" and "What is No?" Usually, the No
will be a back and forth motion of the hands, near the waist level,
however each spirit is different.
After finding out the yes and no, you can ask them what they mean if they don't know, or perhaps a maybe. In doing this you're communicating to them just as you would on a Ouija Board. Spirits on the Ouija Board have called this "Spirit Dancing," and "Psychic Touch". Ask questions such as, Are you male? Are you in your 20's, 30's, 40's etc..? Did either of us know you in your life? Are you a spirit guide? Did you have any children? Or any basic Yes/No/Maybe questions you can think up yourself. You can also use Ouija Dancing for Dowsing. Spirits can lead you to something by guiding your hands where they want you go go. I've also learned that this experience can be very tantric and can be used by sexual partners to enhance sensuality. :-) fun! There will be a time, after a lot of practice, where you come to know certain spirits and by using a Ouija Board you can find out their names. You can also use Automatic Writing, which is another form of channelling spirit energies. Ouija Boards can be dangerous to those who do not know how to use them. The spirits contacted on a board are known as Lower Astral spirits. There are good spirits and there are evil spirits. If you can understand vibrations, such as male/female energies you should also be able to tell when a spirit is intently good or evil. There is a lot more I could add but I think this could be good enough for a little update on the page. Thanks for your time. I will send you more information when it comes to me. Be well |
